Project Ideas

Project One – practice with frame-by-frame, converting to a symbol, motion tweens, shape tweens, using backgrounds and layers, adding text, and scripting a stop action on the last frame

Project Two – builds on previous skills and adds shape tweens, use of images, scripting a stop action on the first frame, and scripting a play button 

Sound And Buttons – importing sound files, scripting a play and stop button for sound (which is a bit different than the play button of Project Two), and adding a HIT frame to a button

Project Three – mostly movie clips with some graphic symbols

Project Four – more practice with movie clips and graphic symbols

Project Four And A Half – practice with movie clips, shape tweens and moving the cursor

Project Five – putting together graphic symbols, movie clips, an invisible button, a stop action, and scripting gotoAndPlay

Project Six – stop actions, and using buttons scripted to gotoAndPlay either a numbered or named frame

Project Seven – creating a maze game that prevents an object from colliding with the walls 

Flip Card Books – frame-by-frame animation, working with a digital camera, images and the Align Panel 

Rotoscoping – frame-by-frame animation of an imported QuickTime movie with the option to add sound buttons 

Create Your Own Game - incorporate animation, sound, text and buttons into a game of your own design
